Main purposes of the job

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the entire process of implementation smart solutions (products, services and best practices) in Real Estate development projects, using recognized PMP standards,
to achieve the goals set and obtain the expected benefits, satisfying customer needs and aligned with company KPIs.

You will manage the project team, set deadlines, assign tasks, monitor and summarize the progress of the projects, exploring opportunities to add value to work results.

The Project Manager reports to Head of Engineering and Project Management

Key tasks

  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders by meetings to take detailed ordering briefs clarify specific requirements of each projects to built project plan
  • Submit to the Project Board focus on essential project topics (efforts, costs, resources, expected results) to require approvation
  • Develop, for each project, a detail project plan to monitor and track progress, to ensure that all projects will be delivered on time, within scope, within budget and alligned with company KPIs
  • Coordinate internal resources and consuleor/partner for the execution of projects
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and perform risk management: managing necessary changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize project risk
  • Share “lesson learned”, as best practices to replicate in other projects, with Engineering and PMgmt unit or Planet Idea team
  • Collaborate with other unit in order to improve value Competence Center


You will need a Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Building) , Architecture or another closely related field.

Having a Project Management Professional certification will be advantageous.


  • Design and construction management works (pubblic or private)
  • Knowledge of: energy systems, building energy efficiency principles and regulations, physics of buildings, residential buildings HVAC systems, BeMS and principles of distribution and allocation of energy consumptions in apartment buildings and ability to use those knowledges in the evaluation of clients’ project
  • Ability to understand drawings and technical specifications
  • Basic knowledge of environmental sustainability and digital technologies
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, as well as being able to communicate on technical requirements

Computer skills- softwares:

  • Office automation (Microsoft or Google suite)
  • Project Management tools (i.e. Trello, Ms Project, Gantt project)
  • Computer Aided Design Tools

Experience required


  • Ten or more years’ experience in a project management role
  • Developing coordinated projects of civil engineering / construction and architecture (schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding)
  • Coordination of a multidisciplinary team for project development
  • Coordination activities for preparing documents and technical drawings for public tenders, technical specification editing for request bidding to suppliers and consultants
  • Costs management and timing control
  • Experience in construction management works (pubblic or private)


  • Experience in building permits or urban planning standards
